Who We Are

This is the section where you can get to know the Associates who volunteer their time, skills, and resources to this Organization.

The Associates here at Earth's Pillars come from all walks of life, and it's our respect for each other's uniqueness that allows this Organization to work as well as it does. This Organization would not be what it is if not for the special gifts and skills of each Associate. Not all associates have chosen to be listed, but that does not in any way diminish their contribution to this Organization. Those that have chosen to be listed do so because they feel the information would be of benefit to you, as it often helps visitors to understand an organization if they get to know those who run it. 

Joy Landa, General Director

Joy is a business owner, artist, writer, and a literal tree-hugging dirt-worshipper. She soulfully embraces the spirit of Nature, and is presently a student in the Kamana Naturalist Training Program. Her favorite causes are environmental preservation/restoration and animal protection.

Joy brings a combination of business savvy and lightheartedness to her role as General Director. She knows the importance of restoring this planet to a healthy state, but she also knows that depressing everyone with continuous bad news isn't a beneficial way to solve the problem either.

Says Joy, "We give out our time and energy--both very precious and in limited quantities--in order to make this world a better place. The least we can do is enjoy the process! If you don't like what you do, you aren't going to do it for long, so let's enjoy the journey and the destination!"
