General Concerns
Are you a bunch of doomsday predictors?
Not in the raving, ranting sense. However, we do feel that humanity has a hand in whether the world will end horribly, “end as we know it” with eventual progress, or stay the same. We work toward progress and harmony in hopes that there will be no desire to launch nuclear weapons or engage in another World War. We would much rather see a smooth transition into progress, but we won’t lie and say that worry of a nuclear threat isn’t in the back of our minds.
If somehow we wound up with predicted information about doomsday, we
would consider the source, contemplate it, and if seemingly valid tell others in hopes that we can do something to prevent it. However,
unlike fanatics of the past, we are not set on any date for which the world will
end. Ours is a more logical view based on current trends and events or
occasionally from highly reputable and multiple divinatory sources that are in
agreement.

Do you have anything against homo/bisexuals?
No. Our choices and preferences in our lives are our own, and as long as
you’re not harming anyone, we have no right to tell you how to live your life.
You are welcome to join regardless of your orientation.

NO! We do not support terror of any kind. We do not look for quick and easy
solutions to problems. Smart work and focus will yield better results
in the long run rather than setting new homes on fire (which then pollutes the
air anyway.) If you support eco-terror, please do not include us in your
correspondences or actions. In fact, if you support any type of terror, we do
not wish to be acquainted with you.

Do you support vegetarian and vegan lifestyles?
We find these to be personal choices. If you are a vegetarian or vegan,
that is your choice. We do not require any assistant or associate to be a
vegetarian or vegan. It is a choice based on personal morals, culture, and body
type, and we cannot make that decision for others. We also will not support
actions to stop meat-eating. We will, however, support actions that work
to stop factory farming and inhumane treatment of animals. All beings—humans,
plants, and animals—have the right to live a healthy, happy life. Beings raised for
food should be treated no differently.

How do we know our efforts will make a difference? What if it doesn’t work?
The biggest concern we hear most often from people in regards to our goals is, “What if it doesn’t work? What if we do all this, and it doesn’t make a difference anyway? What if we fail?” We like to say that just because you miss the basket when you throw a basketball doesn’t mean that basketballs can’t go through hoops. There are going to be times when our efforts fail for the short-term. Heck, sometimes efforts fail in the long-term. Does that mean that no matter what we do we’ll always fail? Does that mean we shouldn’t bother because it won’t make a difference?
There is a great scheme that is at play in the universe, but our actions help dictate what shape that scheme will take from moment to moment. Visions of the future are a glimpse at Order’s plan. However, every thing we do at every moment can alter that plan for better or for worse.
The point is to do what you can with what you have where you are and let that be enough. You can’t always win, but if you don’t try, you’ll always lose.

We believe that diversity makes life interesting and is what makes this world a wonderful place. We accept all peoples regardless of race, culture, creed, or religion. We believe that our cultures are a beautiful thing to be honored and shared, not hidden or squashed to fit in with some social standard.

Absolutely not! We collect information in order to provide resources on our site, and you have the option to subscribe to our quarterly newsletter. We respect your privacy and right to not be annoyed by Viagra ads. We will never sell your list to anyone. Anyone in the organization caught violating this will be harshly reprimanded and publicly ridiculed on a repeated basis.

Is the world going to end
soon?
We sure hope not or else all this work and web programming would have been for nothing! Seriously though, we can’t predict when or if the world will “end.” Those of us who are adept at seeing future trends may get a hint of what is to come. This is actually good because then we can make an effort to change the course. Some do not believe in divination or seeing into the future, but often it’s merely a spiritual way of analyzing trends. The course we are taking can always be changed, and anything you do today may change the path that’s ahead of us. Therefore, there’s no way to tell for sure if the world will end soon, later, or never because we have the gift of choice to change the course.

if I don’t agree with your mission statement?
You are welcome to agree or disagree with us. It is a personal choice, and you have the right to choose for your own self. We aim to restore balance and harmony to the world once again. We are not seeking to create a utopia because such a thing isn’t possible. What we are seeking to do is to end unnatural and unnecessary suffering in the world. There is enough suffering and pain in nature without us humans making more of a mess for ourselves. If you don’t agree with this, again, that’s your choice. We will not stop what we do just because others disagree with us or want us to stop. We will stop when we choose to and work if we choose to because we have the right to make that choice, just as you have the right to not agree with us. We can’t make you agree nor will we try. We will just continue to offer what we have, and if you change your mind, we’ll be happy to have you join us.

if I think you’re all a bunch of deluded dreamers?
Again, that’s your choice to feel that way. All great inventions and discoveries started as dreams. Some even started as works of fiction. Tiny cell phones that can act as computers were things of fantasy long before they were invented. Yes, we are dreamers. We dream of being able to hear world news without wanting to cry. We dream about sending our kids to school without fear they will be shot. We dream about seeing our families for holidays without being heartbroken because our brother or sister died in some war. We aim to make these dreams a reality because that is our choice. If we really want it, we can make it happen, just like the inventions that surround us today. Are we deluded? That’s all the perception. We don’t think we are, but we can’t think for you. You have every right to insult us if you choose, but we can choose not to listen.

What
political party do you belong to?
None. Although individual assistants or associates may belong to a particular political party, the Earth’s Pillars organization does not belong to any specific party. We support certain causes and will act to bring them into fruition regardless of what party supports them (we should note here that we will not support causes led by a party whose overall intentions disrupt world harmony, such as those that are racist in nature.) Though it may seem like we support a particular party’s agenda more than others, this is because of the causes that are presented, not allegiance of any kind.

Because you choose to. If you want to make a difference in the world but the usual non-profit and charity groups aren’t your bag, why not give us a try? We could use large numbers of dedicated people so that we can have a greater impact on the world. You should help us if you want to see change in the world and want to do something to help it along. You should help us if it will make you feel good to have done so. You should help us because we’ve made it relatively simple for you to do so. We won’t send you out to sell stuff for us or bug you for money every 10 seconds. If you’re going to help us, it would probably be something you’d do anyway except now you have structure and focus to help you along. But most of all, you should help because you want to, because you choose to, not because anyone is making you feel guilty or you feel that you have to. If you help us without really wanting to, you not only hurt yourself by doing something you don’t want to do, you also hurt us because your efforts will lack the focus we need. You should help because it’s something you and you alone want to do regardless of any outside suggestion.

Causes and Special Projects
As an organization, we respect all religions and ways that do not harm others beyond survival as valid and accepted. We also understand that not all people feel the way we do. If you want to suggest an Energy/Prayer Project to help your country but you only want those of your country’s religion to help, we will try to assist as best we can. However, there is strength in numbers, and we feel it would be better for YOU if we let others help. Regardless, if you request something specific that falls within the concept of returning balance to the world, we will try to help you as we can.
On the flip side, if you do not make the request for an Energy/Prayer Project but one of our associates sees a problem in your country that needs addressing, we will call upon all assistants that wish to help. Remember that our focus is in restoring balance and harmony in the world, and sometimes we must do this regardless of certain views. The point is that if you make a special request, we will do what we can to honor it. If we find the problem on our own, we will act as we usually would act.
Remember that we also work on a physical level, so if you prefer we can start letter writing campaigns or awareness projects directed at your situation. If you'd like us to work on a project for your situation, please visit the forums of our Environmental, Social, or Political Progress departments.

don’t agree with some of the Energy/Prayer Projects. Does that mean I can’t help?
You are still welcome to help us. We know that not everyone will agree with our causes and Energy/Prayer Projects. For instance, those whose religion claims to be the only true one won’t be accepting of an Energy/Prayer Project aimed at bringing about religious tolerance. However, those same people may want to pray for victims of an earthquake. You are not required to agree with all of our projects. You are welcome to help with the ones that you do agree with.

know of a cause that should be addressed. How do I suggest it?
To suggest an Energy/Prayer Project, visit the forum of the relevant department and post your idea there (if in doubt as to what department to post in, choose Social Progress.) Please remember that the project should be one that aims to restore a healthy balance to the world as a whole. For instance, suggesting a project to end a war in another country is valid. Suggesting a project to make one country win the Olympics is not. Send us what you have, and we’ll see what we can do.

No, as Energy/Prayer Projects are only for measures that achieve World Balance and Restoration. However, you are welcome to post your request on the department forums under the topic General Chat only. If we created a Energy/Prayer Project for individual cases, the project load would grow enormous in no time.

What is
Environmental Progress?
Environmental Progress is the department dedicated to protection of the environment or to reverse damage already done. This includes energy work and prayer, as well as letter writing, petition signing, awareness campaigns, etc. In the Environmental Progress department, you will find information on how to influence key decisions that will affect the environment in all countries. You will also find information on how our environment is adversely affected, including damage done by the most seemingly harmless of things. There is also information on ecologically benign solutions to common problems.
Each department contains news, actions (including Energy/Prayer Projects,) articles, opinion pieces, polls, and a forum for discussion.

Political Progress is the department dedicated to influencing the government. This includes energy work and prayer, as well as letter writing, petition signing, etc. In the Political Progress department, you can find information on how to influence political parties to vote in favor of causes we support. You can also find out more about candidates who support our causes and could use your vote. You will also find information about what governments are doing around the world and what you can do to influence their decisions if possible.

Social Progress is the department dedicated to alleviating societal problems that include crime; poverty; unnecessary suffering; abuse of humans, animals, and plants; mental and physical illness; societal imbalances; etc. We do this through energy work and prayer, as well as awareness campaigns, letter writing, education, petition signing, political influence, etc. In the Social Progress department, you will find information on how you can help these situations. You will also find global news detailing social situations that need assistance. Plus, you will find details on how, if possible, each social problem can be resolved.

That depends. If our aim is to influence your government toward healthier goals, but you’re happy with what you have, you are welcome to contact us and discuss it. We aim to help people achieve health harmony in their lives and not suffer unnecessarily. However, each country has their own culture and ways of doing things that perhaps those of other countries don’t understand. We are willing to take that into consideration as long as you are open to discussing it.
On the other hand, if your country is about to send a nuclear bomb to another, regardless of whether you want us to interfere or not, we’re going to work to stop it. Things like nuclear bombs affect the rest of the world and harm innocent beings, causing irreversible damage. If the goal is to protect the world and restore its balance, we are going to move ahead regardless. However, if the project winds up being a cultural misunderstanding, we will talk with you to work it out.

Do
you promote any one religion over another?
No. We hold that all religions and spiritual paths—or lack thereof—are valid. As individuals, we all have different needs. Our needs may match the needs of others, allowing a shared experience to happen, but at other times our needs differ. We do not believe that any one religion is the “true one.” Each associate and assistant has the right to his or her own spiritual path, and that path should not be forced upon another. We welcome discussions about religion as long as it is done with respect for one another.

believe my religion is the only true one. How can I offer you help if I feel
this way?
You may still pray offer your prayers for our Energy/Prayer Projects. You don't even have to use our suggestions. You can offer your own prayers to causes we are supporting. If you find our diversity offensive or contrary to your religion then it is your choice and right to feel that way. However, we cannot alter our diversity to suit one particular group. It would be contrary to our goal of harmony. Therefore, the choice to help us or not is up to you.

You are welcome to your opinion, and we do not seek to change it since only you can do that. If you feel uncomfortable with the concepts of Gods (or the Great Spirit as we like to say,) prayer, and energy work, you can still assist us in the physical sector by visiting each department and keeping up on news, petitions, etc. The choice to help us is up to you.

Our organization is diverse and allows people of different ways to come together toward a common goal. Obviously, we will not all agree on what we believe in and what we don’t. If the concept of energy work turns you off from the organization completely, then that is your choice to make. We cannot tell others how to feel and won’t try. Those of us who use energy work see it as valid, but we fully understand others do not. It’s a matter of preference, as is the choice to help us.

Sure! We do not require people to be of a specific religion or of a religion altogether. Most of us tend to be spiritual rather than religious anyway. All we want is your genuine help in achieving our goals of World Harmony and Healthy Restoration. To offer your energy toward one of our Energy/Prayer Projects, visit the department of your choosing to your left.

No. We all come from diverse backgrounds and spiritual paths. We are not a religious organization, and we usually consider ourselves spiritual rather than religious. This is not a cult or way towards "salvation"; it is simply an organization that accepts diverse methods of obtaining the same goal—World Harmony and Healthy Restoration.

Energy Work is the conscious direction of natural/spiritual energies to be put toward a goal. This is often thought of channeling “chi” as is used in Tai Chi or “ki” as is used in Reiki. Chi/Ki is often thought of as Divine Energy or the Life Force as well as many other terms.
We can use this energy with direction toward our goals. For instance, when we put up an energetic protection grid, energy is required to keep the grid functioning. Those who perform Energy Work can strengthen this grid and keep it running as long as we need it.
Energy can be directed using conscious thought, dancing, drumming, singing, reiki, mystickal work, and many other methods.

Only if you obtain our permission. Despite common views, just because something is posted on the web or on a discussion board doesn’t make it available for the public under the concept of fair use. Even pages that do not have a copyright symbol are still copyrighted because they are put in a fixed form. You cannot copyright ideas, but if you turn that idea into something that can be put into a tangible form, that form is copyrighted.
Copyright means just what it says, the right to make copies. Only the author has exclusive rights to do that until he or she sells those rights to a publisher or gives permission. We will not charge you money if you want to copy some of our information and post it somewhere; we just want to know where it’s going and what it will be used for. If you wish to use information that will be printed or added to a pay-service site, you must contact our legal department. Email them with the subject, “Reprint Request” if you wish to use our information for print or pay articles. Send us an email with the subject, “Copyright Ownership.” We do our best to obtain permission for articles that are physically located on our site, but there may have been times where we believed that the article was in public domain. Email us with the subject Links. The links we display must be relevant to our cause. The only exception is in the cases of associates or sponsors who are being thanked for their work by having their personal or business link displayed. We are not asking you to pay us to put a link on our page. What we are saying is that links that are not relevant to our cause are set aside only for Associates or Sponsors. We also must note that Sponsors and Associates are not allowed to display links that are of a contrary nature to our cause or promote a product with false or unproven claims. In other words, just because you send us a pack of envelopes doesn’t mean that we will add your link for weight loss pills, generic Viagra, or breast enlargement pills.
