Earth's Pillars

Supporting the Earth, Restoring Her Balance

We are the Earth�s Pillars.

We are charged with the protection of Earth and Her children,

The Plants and the Animals, the Air and the Atmosphere,

The Rivers and the Oceans, the Soil and the Mountains,

And not least of all, Humanity.  

We are likened unto other human beings,

But unlike the masses, have remembered the Earth,

Remembered Her teachings,

Remembered Her strength and Her love. 

And so in Light and in Shadow have we come,

Realizing both are necessary for creation

And for the perpetuation of all Earth's children.  

For Nature knows not Light nor Shadow,

Not Evil, nor Good,

Not Death, nor Rebirth,

But all these things, in a continuous cycle,

Unending, perpetual, so that they become one and the same.  

With our knowledge comes responsibility,

For knowledge is never free.

Our knowledge demands of us, therefore,

Diligence, sacrifice, patience, and compassion

Toward Humanity and the Earth itself.
